Brain Tumor Pathology

Brain Tumor Pathology is the official journal of the Japan Society of Brain Tumor Pathology. It publishes international clinical and experimental research relating to brain tumors, especially brain tumor pathology, and has been published since 1983. The journal accepts submissions from any country and publishes original articles, case reports, rapid short communications, instructional lectures, review articles, letters to the editor, and topics.

Original Articles

Cover Letter A cover letter must be provided with the manuscript. The cover letter must confirm approval for publication by all co-authors and responsible institutional authorities.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 200 words. The abstract structure type is not specified. No mandatory abstract headings are specified.
Manuscript Manuscript must be limited to 6,400 words including title page, abstract, text, illustrations, tables, and references. Original Articles must be divided into title page, abstract, keywords, introduction, materials and methods, results, discussion, acknowledgements, conflict of interest, references, tables, and figure legends. Manuscripts must include 3 to 5 keywords and the number of words on the title page.
References Citations must be numbered in square brackets, and references must be alphabetized by first-author surname and numbered consecutively with the first three authors plus et al used for works with more than four authors.
Figures & Tables Original Articles may include no more than six figures or tables. Figure captions must be included in the manuscript text file, and figures must be supplied electronically. Tables and figures must be numbered in Arabic numerals and cited in the text in consecutive numerical order.

Review Articles
