Pediatric Nephrology is the Journal of the International Pediatric Nephrology Association and publishes original clinical research related to acute and chronic diseases affecting renal function, blood pressure, and fluid and electrolyte disorders in children, including medical, surgical, nutritional, physiologic, biochemical, genetic, pathologic, immunologic, imaging, and kidney disease consequences.

Abstract Abstract is required and must be up to 250 words. Abstract must be up to 250 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must use the headings Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusions, and for clinical trials the trial registration number and date of registration must appear as the last line of the abstract.
Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 8 printed journal pages. Manuscript must include a Graphical Abstract. Manuscript must include 4 to 6 keywords, a disclosure statement, relevant statements under a "Declarations" or "Statements and Declarations" heading before the reference list, documentation of any Large Language Model use in the Methods or another suitable section, and the relevant EQUATOR checklist uploaded as a supplementary file.
References Reference list must not exceed 50 references. References must be cited in the text as numbers in square brackets and listed consecutively in numbered order, with only cited published or accepted works included and DOI links provided when available.
Figures & Tables Original Articles must have no more than 8 tables and figures combined. Figures should be submitted within the body of the text unless file size causes upload problems, and figure captions must be included in the manuscript text file rather than in the figure files. Tables and figures must be numbered with Arabic numerals and cited in consecutive numerical order, each table must have a caption, each figure must have a concise caption, figure parts must be labeled with lowercase letters, and titles or captions must not appear within illustrations.
