Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine is a hybrid journal that advances and disseminates research and technologies in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. It promotes interdisciplinary research spanning biology, medicine, pharmacology, polymer chemistry, natural science, engineering, molecular biology, genomics, cytology, and medical science. The journal is indexed in PubMed/MEDLINE for articles from 2019 and in Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE), and it publishes eight issues per year.

Original Article

Abstract Abstract is required for Original Articles. Abstract must be 200–250 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must use the headings BACKGROUND, METHODS, RESULTS, and CONCLUSION.
Manuscript Manuscript must be fewer than 60,000 characters including references and figure legends. Manuscript must be organized as Title page, Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Acknowledgments, Conflicts of Interest, Ethical Statement, References, Tables or Table legends, and Figure legends, and the main text must not include a Conclusion section. Manuscript must include 3–5 keywords at the bottom of the abstract, with keywords selected using MeSH terms.
References References must be cited in the text with numbers in square brackets and numbered consecutively in order of first mention, with all authors listed for six or fewer authors and the first six followed by et al. for seven or more authors.
Figures & Tables There must be no more than 10 figure legends. Tables must be included on separate pages within the manuscript, and each figure or subfigure must be submitted in a separate file. Subfigures must be labeled A, B, C, and figure files must be in PPT, JPEG, or TIFF format.

Manuscript Manuscript is generally prepared in the same format as an Original Article, but the format may be flexible according to the contents. Manuscript must include 3–5 keywords at the bottom of the abstract and end sections for Acknowledgments, Conflict of Interest, and Ethical Statement.
References References must be cited by consecutive numbers in square brackets in order of first appearance, with six or fewer authors listed in full and seven or more authors listed as the first six followed by 'et al.'.
Figures & Tables No more than 10 figure legends are permitted. Tables must be included on separate pages within the manuscript, and each figure must be submitted as a separate file. Tables must be numbered in Arabic numerals in order of first citation and figures must be numbered consecutively and cited in the text as Fig. 1 or Fig. 2A.
