Original Research Reports

Cover Letter A cover letter is required. Cover letter must certify that the research is original, not under consideration elsewhere, and free of conflict of interest, and must disclose any third-party writing or editing assistance if applicable.
Abstract A 300-word abstract is required. Abstract must be 300 words.
Manuscript Main text is limited to 3,200 words excluding the abstract, acknowledgments, figure legends, and references. Manuscript must include introduction, materials, methods, results, and discussion sections. Manuscript must include 6 MeSH keywords after the abstract, acknowledgments, author contributions, and a 'Statements and Declarations' section at the end of the article.
References References are limited to 50. References and citations must follow CSE 9th edition name-year style. Each in-text citation must have a corresponding reference list entry and vice versa, with identical spelling and year in both places.
Figures & Tables A combined total of figures and tables is limited to 5. Figures, charts, and tables created in Word must be included in the main text, while figures created outside Word must be submitted separately with a placeholder note in the text. Figure and table legends in the main document must be text only, and main tables must be created in Word and viewable in portrait orientation.

Critical Reviews In Oral Biology & Medicine

Cover Letter A cover letter is required. Cover letter must certify originality and that the work is free of conflict of interest.
Abstract A 300-word abstract is required. Abstract must be 300 words.
Manuscript Manuscript text is limited to 4,000 words. Manuscript must combine the title page, abstract, text, summary, figure legends, and tables into a single Word document. Manuscript must include a summary and at least 6 MeSH keywords, and it must include a 'Statements and Declarations' section at the end of the article.
References References are limited to 80. Citations and references must follow CSE 9th edition name-year style. Reference list must correspond exactly to the in-text citations.
Figures & Tables A combined total of figures and tables is limited to 6. Tables and figure legends must be included in the single Word manuscript file, while figures must be submitted as a separate document. Important concepts should be summarized in tables or flow charts or critical data shown as figures.

Figures & Tables A combined total of figures and tables is limited to 6. Figure legends and tables must be included in the main Word document, while figures must be submitted as a separate document. Clinical Reviews should include illustrations, diagrams, tables, flow charts, or figures to enhance clarity and summarize important concepts or critical data.

Letters To The Editor

Abstract Abstract requirements are not specified.
Manuscript Letters to the Editor must not exceed 250 words. Letters to the Editor must provide evidence supporting a position about the scientific or editorial content of the journal.
References Citations and references must use CSE 9th edition name-year style.
Figures & Tables Letters to the Editor may not include any figures or tables.
