Journal Of Neuroinflammation is an invitation-only journal. Submissions are accepted by invitation from the editorial board only. The following article types are accepted:

Research

Cover Letter A cover letter is required. Cover letter must explain why the manuscript should be published, address any issues relating to journal policies, declare any potential competing interests, confirm all authors approved submission, and name the special issue if applicable.
Abstract A structured abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 350 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must include Background, main body of the abstract, and short conclusion.
Manuscript Manuscript must include a title page, Background, Main text, Conclusions, and a Declarations section. Manuscript must include three to ten keywords, a Declarations section with the specified subheadings using 'Not applicable' where relevant, a list of abbreviations if abbreviations are used, and documentation of any Large Language Model use in the Methods or other suitable section.
References References must follow Vancouver reference style. Only published or in-press articles, clinical trial registration records, abstracts, and publicly available preprints may be cited, unpublished abstracts/data and personal communications must be excluded from the reference list, journal abbreviations must follow Index Medicus/MEDLINE, and URLs must appear as numbered references in full.
Figures & Tables Figure titles and legends must appear in the main manuscript while figures are uploaded separately, and tables under one page may be placed in the manuscript whereas larger tables may be placed at the end with their intended location cited in the text. Multi-panel figures must be submitted as a single composite file, gels or western blots must include raw image files as supplementary files, source data must be provided for figures describing tumour growth, and tables must be created with the word processor's Table object rather than embedded as figures or spreadsheets.

Abstract An abstract is required for Correspondence manuscripts. The abstract must not exceed 250 words.
Manuscript The manuscript must include a title page with the title, full author names and institutional addresses, corresponding author indication, and a 'Declarations' section containing the specified subheadings, with non-relevant headings retained and marked 'Not applicable'. The manuscript must include three to ten keywords, a list of abbreviations if abbreviations are used, and documentation of any Large Language Model use in the Methods section or another suitable part of the manuscript.
References References must follow the Vancouver reference style.
