Maturitas is an international multidisciplinary peer reviewed scientific journal of midlife health and beyond, publishing original research, reviews, consensus statements and guidelines, and mini-reviews. It is the official journal of the European Menopause and Andropause Society (EMAS) and is affiliated with the Australasian Menopause Society (AMS). The journal covers postreproductive health in both genders across basic science, clinical care, and social care.

Abstract A structured abstract is required. The abstract must not exceed 250 words. The abstract must be structured. The abstract must use the headings objectives, study design, main outcome measures, results, and conclusions.
Manuscript Original Articles must be 2000-3000 words. Original Articles must be structured as Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References. Article highlights are required at submission and must consist of 3 to 5 bullet points.
References Original Articles may include up to 30 references. References cited in the article must also appear in the reference list and vice versa.
Figures & Tables Figures and tables must be supplied as separate files, and tables must be submitted as editable text rather than as images. All tables must be cited in the manuscript, numbered consecutively, and include captions and table notes below the table body.
