Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract An unstructured abstract is required for Article submissions. Abstract must not exceed 200 words. Abstract must be unstructured.
Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 5,000 words excluding the abstract, references, tables, and figures. Manuscript should nominally be organized under the main headings Introduction, Results, Discussion, Methods, Data Availability, References, Acknowledgments, Author Contributions, and Competing Interests.
References References must not exceed 50. References must use Vancouver style with superscript numbers cited in order of appearance. For publications in the reference list, all authors should be included unless there are more than five, in which case only the first author should be given followed by et al.
Figures & Tables Article submissions must not exceed 10 figures and/or tables. Tables should be provided at the end of the Word document, and figure legends should appear on a separate manuscript page after the Reference section.
