Research Manuscripts

Cover Letter A cover letter is required. Cover letter must state the aim of the study, the gap in knowledge addressed, and how the manuscript contributes to international new knowledge.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 300 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract should include the headings Background, Aim, Design, Settings, Participants, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Manuscript Manuscript must be 3,500-6,000 words excluding the abstract, references, tables, and figures. Manuscript submission requires 1 to 7 keywords in English, 3 to 5 article highlights submitted separately, and an AI disclosure section before the references if generative AI was used in manuscript preparation.
References References may be submitted in any consistent style or format and must include complete bibliographic details for each cited source.
Figures & Tables Tables must appear in the anonymized manuscript, while figures must be supplied as separate files. Tables must be editable text with captions, and all figures and tables must be cited and numbered consecutively in the text.

References References may be submitted in any consistent style or format. Reference entries must include author names, journal or book titles, chapter or article titles, year of publication, volume numbers, and article numbers or pagination where applicable.
Figures & Tables Tables must be included in the anonymized manuscript, while figures and other graphical media must be supplied as separate files. Tables must be submitted as editable text with captions, and all figures and tables must be cited in the manuscript text and numbered consecutively.
