Clinical Papers
Cover Letter
Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract
Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be unstructured and written as a continuous paragraph. Abstract must follow the sequence background, methods, results, and conclusion without subheadings.
Manuscript
Clinical Papers must not exceed 3000 words. Text must be structured as Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, and Discussion, with no separate Conclusion section. Manuscript must include at least 5 MeSH keywords, a declarations page upon submission, and a Declaration of Generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in the writing process before the references if AI was used.
References
Clinical Papers must not exceed 30 references. References must be numbered consecutively in order of first citation and listed at the end in that same order.
Figures & Tables
Tables must be provided on separate pages, and figure captions must be typed on a separate page. Tables must be numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals and include a short descriptive title, and figures must be numbered in sequence with Arabic numerals.

Manuscript must include at least 5 keywords using US National Library of Medicine MeSH terms, upload a declarations page upon submission, and include an AI disclosure section before the references if AI-assisted writing tools were used.

Figures & Tables

Letters to the Editor must not exceed 600 words. Letters to the Editor must concern only one recently published IJOMS article and must begin with 'comment on:' followed by the article being addressed, while replies must begin with 'In reply to:' followed by the letter being addressed. Letters to the Editor must include financial disclosures at the end of the letter.
References
