Original Research

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract A structured abstract is required for Original Research articles. Abstract must not exceed 150 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract headings must be Background, Purpose, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 4000 words, approximately 16 pages, including abstract through references. The abstract page must include 4-5 MeSH keywords, and any use of AI tools must be disclosed in the Materials and Methods or similar section.
References References must follow AMA style, 11th edition. References must be cited consecutively by number and listed in citation order, with all authors listed unless there are more than 6 authors, in which case the first 3 are followed by et al.
Figures & Tables Each table and each figure must be submitted as an individual file. Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively with Arabic numbers and each must have a descriptive title.
