Original Articles

Cover Letter A covering letter is required and must be signed by all contributors. The covering letter must mention previous publication or presentations, the source of funding, disclose conflicts of interest, and include a statement that the manuscript has been read and approved by all authors and represents honest work if not provided elsewhere.
Abstract A structured abstract is required for Original Articles. The abstract must be up to 250 words. The abstract must be structured. The abstract must use the headings Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Manuscript The manuscript must be up to 3000 words excluding abstract, references, and tables. The manuscript must be divided into Abstract and Key-words, Introduction, Material and Methods, Results, Discussion, References, Tables, and Figure legends. The manuscript must include 3 to 10 MeSH-based keywords below the abstract and authors must disclose which AI tool was used and how it was used if generative AI or AI-assisted technologies were used.
References About 30 references can be included. References must be numbered consecutively in order of first mention and cited as superscript Arabic numerals after punctuation marks, with journal titles abbreviated according to Index Medicus style.
Figures & Tables Tables must be included in the blinded article file, figure legends and table legends must be placed at the end of the article file, and images must be uploaded as separate files. Tables with more than 10 columns and 25 rows are not acceptable.

Review Articles

Cover Letter A short summary of the work done by the contributor or contributors in the review field must accompany the manuscript.
Abstract Review Articles must include an abstract. The abstract must be unstructured and limited to 250 words. The abstract must be unstructured. The abstract must summarize the methods used for locating, selecting, extracting, and synthesizing data.
Manuscript The manuscript must be no more than 3000 words excluding tables, references, and abstract. The manuscript must include a section describing the methods used for locating, selecting, extracting, and synthesizing data. Authors must declare which AI tool was used and how it was used if generative AI or AI-assisted technologies were used in the manuscript.
References Review Articles may include about 90 references. References must be numbered consecutively in the order of first mention and cited as superscript Arabic numerals after punctuation marks.
Figures & Tables Tables must be included in the blinded article file, while images must be submitted as separate files with figure legends placed at the end of the article file.

Case Reports

Cover Letter A covering letter is required as part of the title page/first page submission file. The covering letter must be signed by all contributors and include funding sources, conflicts of interest, previous publication or presentation details, and a statement that all authors approved the manuscript and believe it represents honest work if not provided elsewhere.
Abstract An abstract is required. The abstract must be unstructured. The abstract must appear under the heading "Abstract" as part of the required manuscript order.
Manuscript The manuscript must be up to 1000 words excluding abstract and references. The manuscript must be organized in the following order: Abstract, Key-words, Introduction, Case report, Discussion, Reference, Tables, and Legends. The manuscript must include Key-words and authors must declare which AI tool was used and how it was used if generative AI or AI-assisted technologies were used.
References References may not exceed 10. References must follow the ICMJE Uniform Requirements style with Index Medicus journal title abbreviations. References must be numbered consecutively in order of first mention and cited in the text, tables, and legends as superscript Arabic numerals after punctuation marks.
Figures & Tables Tables must be included in the blinded article file, while images must be uploaded separately and figure legends placed at the end of the article file. Tables must be numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals and tables with more than 10 columns and 25 rows are not acceptable.
