Original Research Papers

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract A structured abstract is required for Original Research Papers. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be structured with the headings Background, Methods, Results, and Discussion. Abstract must use the headings Background, Methods, Results, and Discussion.
Manuscript Main manuscript must not exceed 3,000 words excluding the abstract, keywords, references, figures and table legends, and title page elements including acknowledgement, conflict of interest, and funding statements. Manuscript must contain the sections Title page, Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Acknowledgements, References, Tables, Figures, and Figure legends. Manuscript must include 5-10 keywords and a Key Summary and Virtual Abstracts section in bullet points between the Abstract and Introduction with the headings “Summarize the established knowledge on this subject.” and “What are the significant and/or new findings of this study?” each with a maximum of four bullet points.
References Manuscript must include no more than 50 references. References must conform to the Wiley Chicago reference style. References may be submitted in any consistent style or format at submission.
Figures & Tables Figures may be included in the editable manuscript file or submitted as separate files, while tables may be included in the manuscript and their preferred placement in the main text should be indicated. Figures and tables must include legends.
