Research Articles
Cover Letter
Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract
Research Articles must include a structured abstract. The abstract must not exceed 250 words. The abstract must be structured.
Manuscript
Research Articles should not exceed 3000 words of text, although qualitative research articles may be up to 4000 words. The manuscript should include a title, abstract, key words, main text, references, tables, and figure legends. A bulleted novelty statement of no more than 100 words addressing what is already known, what this study has found, and the implications of the study must be included.
References
Research Articles should be limited to 30 references. References must be in AMA style. References must be numbered consecutively in order of appearance and cited in the text using Arabic superscript numerals.
Figures & Tables
Tables and figures should be included at the end of the manuscript, each on a separate page, and figures must also be uploaded as separate files. Each table and figure must have a legend that explains its purpose without reference to the text.
Narrative Reviews

A structured abstract is required for Narrative Reviews. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be structured.
Manuscript
Main text should not exceed 5,000 words. Manuscript must include up to seven MeSH keywords and a bulleted novelty statement of no more than 100 words covering what is already known, what this study has found, and the implications of the study, and any AI tool use must be disclosed in the Methods or Acknowledgements section if used.
References
References should be limited to 50, with any additional references provided as supporting information in a clearly labelled separate file. References must be in AMA style. References must be numbered consecutively in order of appearance, cited in the text using Arabic superscript numerals, and journal title abbreviations must follow Chemical Abstracts style.
Figures & Tables
Any table longer than two pages must be included as supporting information. Tables and figures must be included at the end of the manuscript on separate pages, and figures must also be uploaded as separate files. Each table and figure must have a legend that explains its purpose without reference to the text.
