Original Research Articles

Cover Letter A cover letter is required. Cover letter must state that the material, in whole or part, has not been previously published and is not currently under consideration by another journal.
Abstract An abstract is required.
Manuscript Original Research Articles should be 5,000 words or less. Manuscript must include the sections abstract, introduction, methods, results, and conclusions.
References References must follow AMA style. References must be numbered consecutively in order of first citation in the text, use Index Medicus abbreviations, list all authors when there are up to 6 and the first 3 followed by 'et al.' when there are more than 6, and cite only books or articles or abstracts published in peer-reviewed journals.
Figures & Tables Figures and tables may be included in the editable manuscript file or submitted as separate files, and legends for illustrations must be submitted in a separate file. Figures and tables must have legends, tables must have a title, tables must be numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals, and figures must be cited in consecutive order in the text and numbered with Arabic numerals.

Review Articles
