Original Articles

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract Abstract is required for Original Articles. Abstract must be no more than 250 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must be divided into Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Manuscript Text should be 2500–3500 words excluding the title page, abstract, tables, figures, acknowledgements, and references. Text must be divided into Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion sections. Manuscript must include a disclosure statement, four to five keywords in alphabetical order with the abstract, and a Declarations section before the references that includes the required statements with nonapplicable headings marked "Not applicable".
References References must follow Springer Vancouver style. References must be numbered consecutively in the order first mentioned and cited in the text, tables, and legends using Arabic numerals in parentheses.
Figures & Tables Original Articles may include a maximum of 5 tables and 3 figures. Tables and figures must be submitted in separate files.

Abstract Review Articles must include a structured abstract. The abstract should be around 250 words. The abstract must be structured. The structured abstract must describe the need and purpose of the review, methods used for selection, extraction and synthesis of data, and main conclusions.
