Systematic Reviews

Cover Letter A cover letter is required. Cover letter must state that all listed authors significantly contributed to and approved the manuscript and that the manuscript has not been published or submitted elsewhere in print or electronically.
Abstract A summary is required for Systematic Reviews. The summary must be less than 300 words. The summary must be a single paragraph. The abstract should be structured with the subtitles Background, Objectives, Design and Setting, Methods, Main Outcome Measures, Results, Conclusions, and Trial Registration.
Manuscript Systematic Reviews must include 3 to 5 MeSH-compliant keywords after the summary and acknowledgements before the bibliography.
References References must use the Vancouver system. References must be numbered consecutively in order of first mention using superscript Arabic numerals, with all authors listed in the reference list unless there are more than six authors, in which case the first three should be followed by et al.
Figures & Tables Figures must not be inserted in the text and must appear on separate pages at the end of the manuscript, while tables must be on separate sheets. Tables must be numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals and include concise legends, and a section containing figure legends must be placed at the end of the manuscript.

Figures & Tables Figures must not be inserted in the text and should appear on separate pages at the end of the manuscript, while tables must be on separate sheets. Tables must be numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals and accompanied by concise legends, and figure legends must be assembled in a section at the end of the manuscript.

Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 4000 words. Manuscript must include an Acknowledgement statement and 3 to 5 MeSH-compliant keywords after the abstract.
References References must use the Vancouver style adopted by the U.S. National Library of Medicine. References must be numbered consecutively in order of first mention using superscript Arabic numerals, with all authors listed in the reference list unless there are more than six authors, in which case the first three are followed by et al.
Figures & Tables Figures must not be inserted in the text and must appear on separate pages at the end of the manuscript, while tables must be on separate sheets. Figures must be clearly numbered in order of appearance and have legends assembled at the end of the manuscript, and tables must be numbered consecutively and accompanied by concise legends.

Abstract Abstract is not required for this article type.
Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 1500 words. Manuscript must begin with 'To the Editor' and be written as a formal letter without subdivisions.
References Letter may include a maximum of five references. References must use the Vancouver system adopted by the U.S. National Library of Medicine. References must be numbered consecutively in order of first mention using superscript Arabic numerals, with all authors listed unless there are more than six authors, in which case the first three are followed by et al.
Figures & Tables Letter may include a maximum of one figure or table. Figures must not be inserted in the text and must appear on separate pages at the end of the manuscript. Figures must be clearly numbered in order of appearance, and each table must be on a separate sheet with a concise legend.
