Actas Dermo-Sifiliográficas is the official publication of the Spanish Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (AEDV). Founded in 1909, it is described as the oldest monthly medical journal published in Spain and has been indexed in Medline since 2006. The journal publishes dermatology content including Original articles, Clinical Case Studies, Reviews, Case Diagnoses, and Book Reviews, and states that all articles undergo peer review by pairs and careful literary and scientific editing.

Abstract
An abstract is required. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must include the headings Background and objectives, Materials and methods, Results, Conclusions, and Keywords.
Manuscript
Manuscript must not exceed 2500 words excluding the title page, abstract, references, tables, and figure legends. Manuscript must include ethics and informed consent declarations in the Materials and Methods section. The first page must include declarations on ethical considerations, informed consent, funding, conflict of interest, use of artificial intelligence, and authorship, and any use of generative AI must also be disclosed in a section titled 'Declaration of Generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in the writing process' placed before the references.
References
A maximum of 30 references is permitted. References must be cited in the text using consecutive superscript Arabic numerals and listed in numerical order of appearance.
Figures & Tables
A maximum of 6 figures and 6 tables is permitted. Figures must be uploaded as separate files with captions, and tables must be uploaded separately with titles, descriptions, and footnotes.

Keywords are required after the abstract, and reviews with recommendations on procedures or preventive, diagnostic, or therapeutic techniques must include the level of evidence and grade of recommendation according to SIGN, Oxford, or NICE classification systems, while any use of generative AI in writing must be disclosed in a section titled 'Declaration of Generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in the writing process' placed before the references list.
