Research Articles
Cover Letter
Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract
A concise and factual abstract is required. The abstract should be unstructured and able to stand alone.
Manuscript
Research Articles have no page limit but may be returned for shortening at the editors' discretion. Articles must be divided into clearly defined and numbered sections. Manuscripts must include highlights of 3 to 5 bullet points in a separate editable file, a maximum of 6 keywords immediately after the abstract, a competing interests statement, and an AI-use disclosure section before the references if generative AI was used in manuscript preparation.
References
References in the text must be indicated by number in square brackets. References must be numbered in the order they appear in the text, and journal names should be abbreviated according to the List of Title Word Abbreviations.
Figures & Tables
Each illustration must be submitted as a separate file, and all figures and tables must be uploaded with figure captions provided separately and tables including titles, descriptions, and footnotes. Figures must be numbered according to their sequence in the text, and tables must be submitted as editable text and numbered consecutively in accordance with their appearance in the text.

Articles must be divided into clearly defined and numbered sections with numbered subsections. Manuscripts must include highlights consisting of 3 to 5 bullet points of no more than 85 characters each, up to 6 keywords after the abstract, a declaration of interest statement, and an AI-use disclosure section before the references if generative AI was used.
References
References must be cited by number in square brackets. References must be numbered in the order of appearance in the text, every reference list entry must be cited in the text and vice versa, and journal names should be abbreviated according to the List of Title Word Abbreviations.
Figures & Tables
Each figure must be uploaded as a separate file with its caption provided separately, and all tables must be uploaded with titles, descriptions, and footnotes. Figures and tables must be numbered consecutively according to their order in the text, tables must be editable text rather than images, and figure and table citations in the text must match the files provided.
