Original Research Articles

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract Abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words.
Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 3,500 words. Manuscript must contain the following sections: Title Page, Abstract, Conflict of Interest Statement, Introduction, Patients (or Materials) and Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion. Manuscript must include up to 10 keywords and article highlights are required at submission as 3 to 5 bullet points in a separate editable file.
References References are limited to 60. References must be cited in the text using numbers in square brackets and listed in the order they appear in the article, with journal names abbreviated according to LTWA.
Figures & Tables Figures and tables are limited to a combined total of 7. Figures must be supplied as separate files, while tables must be submitted as editable text. All figures and tables must be cited in the manuscript text, numbered according to their order of appearance, and accompanied by captions.

Review Articles

Abstract Review Articles must include a short abstract stating the goal of the review. Abstract must not exceed 250 words.
Manuscript Review Articles can contain up to 5,000 words. Review Articles must contain an introduction, a discussion, and a conclusion, and the manuscript must be divided into clearly defined sections using headings. Authors must provide 1 to 7 keywords in English, and article highlights are required as 3 to 5 bullet points submitted in a separate editable file.
References Review Articles may include up to 120 references. References must be cited in the text using numbers in square brackets and listed in numerical order of appearance, with journal names abbreviated according to LTWA.
Figures & Tables Review Articles may include up to 7 figures and/or tables. Figures must be supplied as separate files along with the manuscript, while tables must be submitted as editable text. All figures and tables must be cited in the manuscript text, numbered consecutively in order of appearance, and include captions.
