The International Journal of Hygiene and Environmental Health is a multidisciplinary forum for reports on exposure assessment and on reactions to and consequences of human exposure to biological, chemical, and physical environmental factors, with priority given to epidemiology of environmental toxicology, human biomonitoring, exposure to mixtures, health risk assessments, susceptible populations, public health aspects of exposure-related outcomes, evidence-based intervention and policy, and sanitation and clean water.

Abstract An abstract is required. The abstract must be no more than 250 words. The abstract must be unstructured.
Manuscript The manuscript must not exceed 5,000 words excluding the abstract and references. The manuscript should be divided into clearly defined sections using headings. The submission must include 1 to 7 English keywords, 3 to 5 highlights submitted as a separate editable file, and a declaration of generative AI use in a new section before the references if applicable.
References The submission must include no more than 40 references. The reference list must be arranged alphabetically and then chronologically if necessary.
Figures & Tables The submission may include a maximum of 10 tables and figures. Figures must be supplied as separate files, and tables must be submitted as editable text. All tables and figures must be cited in the text, numbered consecutively, and accompanied by captions.
