Research Article

Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract
A structured abstract is required for Research Articles. Abstract must be structured. Abstract should follow the standard sections used for scientific research writing.
Manuscript
Manuscript should generally follow the format Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, and Discussion. Five to ten keywords must follow the abstract, a separate Funding section is required, and use of AI technologies must be disclosed when applicable.
References
References must use AMA style. References must be listed in numerical order, and for more than 6 authors only the first 3 should be listed followed by et al.
Figures & Tables
Tables must be uploaded as separate files and not included within the main manuscript, while tables, figures, or other appendix material must be uploaded as Supporting Information for Review. Tables must be numbered in Roman numerals and figures must be numbered in order of appearance, with titles or legends defining abbreviations.

Abstract
Abstract must be unstructured. Abstract should be composed of four sections labeled Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Manuscript
Text should generally use the format Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, and Discussion. Include 5 to 10 keywords after the abstract and disclose use of AI technologies at submission except for tools used solely for spelling, grammar, and general editing.
References
References must use AMA style. References must be listed in numerical order, use the first 3 authors followed by et al. when there are more than 6 authors, omit 'and' before the last author, omit commas between surnames and initials, close up initials without periods, and include the date of last access for web citations.
Figures & Tables
Tables must be uploaded as separate files and not within the main manuscript, and tables, figures, or other appendix material must be uploaded as Supporting Information for Review when included as appendices. Tables must be numbered in Roman numerals with a header giving the number and title, include bottom legends defining abbreviations, be referenced in the text, and figures must be numbered by order of appearance with legends beneath defining abbreviations.
Brief Report

A structured abstract is required for Brief Reports. The abstract must be structured. The abstract must follow the standard scientific sections for Brief Reports.
Manuscript
Brief Reports should follow the standard scientific research format of Introduction, Methods, Results, and Conclusion, with the text generally using Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, and Discussion. The manuscript must include five to ten keywords after the abstract and a disclosure of AI use if applicable.
References
References must use AMA style. References must be listed in numerical order, and for works with more than 6 authors, list the first 3 authors followed by et al.
Figures & Tables
Tables must be uploaded as separate editable text files and not embedded in the main manuscript. Tables must be numbered in order of appearance with Roman numerals, and figures must be numbered by order of appearance with a legend beneath each figure defining abbreviations.
