Major Articles
Cover Letter
Cover letter is required to include conflict of interest information for contributing authors. Cover letter must include conflict of interest information for contributing authors and a statement of approval by all authors and responsible authorities.
Abstract
Abstract is required. Structured abstract must be 150 to 200 words. Abstract must be structured. Structured abstract must include Background, Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusions.
Manuscript
Manuscript must be no more than 3,500 words. Manuscript must include keywords, 3 to 5 bulleted highlights, and a generative AI declaration statement before the references if AI tools were used.
References
Manuscript may include no more than 40 references. References must be in AMA style. References must be cited with superscript numerals and numbered consecutively in the order first mentioned in the text.
Figures & Tables
Manuscript may include up to 5 tables and/or figures. Figures and tables must be included in the single manuscript file and placed next to or below the relevant text. Figures and tables must be numbered consecutively and each caption must be placed directly below the figure or table.
