Cover Letter A cover letter is required. It must state any financial and personal conflicts of interest and affirm that the manuscript has not been published previously, is not under concurrent consideration elsewhere, and has been approved by all authors and acknowledged contributors.
Abstract An abstract is required. 220 words or less. Unstructured.
Manuscript Regular Articles have no official limits to word count. The text should be organized as Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, and Discussion in that order. First-person personal pronouns should be kept to a minimum.
References References should begin on a new page.
Figures & Tables Regular Articles have no official limits to the number of tables and figures that can be included. All labels in figures must be sized so they are legible in print.
