Original Article

Cover Letter A cover letter must be uploaded with the submission. The cover letter must state the article type, include a statement on authorship, include conflict-of-interest information if not given elsewhere, describe any AI-assisted technologies used, and provide related material if the work substantially overlaps with another published or submitted paper.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 300 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must include the headings Objective, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Manuscript Text must not exceed 30,000 characters including spaces from the Introduction to the Conflict of Interest Statement, excluding the title page, abstract, and references. Main text must be structured into Introduction, Materials and methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusions, and the first page must state the article type and study type when applicable. The manuscript must include no more than five keywords, and any AI use for writing assistance must be described in the acknowledgments while AI use for data collection, analysis, or figure generation must be described in the Methods section.
References References must not exceed 25. References must follow NLM/Citing Medicine style. References must be numbered consecutively in order of citation, cited in the text with numerals, listed in citation order, use Index Medicus journal abbreviations, include DOI and URL when available, and list only the first three authors followed by “et al.” for works with more than three authors.
Figures & Tables Tables are limited to 5 and figures are limited to 5. Tables must be included in the manuscript, while figures must be uploaded as separate files and not embedded in the text file. Tables must be numbered consecutively and have brief titles, and figure legends must appear at the end of the text file or on a separate page.

Review Article (Meta-Analysis)

The manuscript must include no more than 5 keywords, and any use of AI-assisted technologies in the work must be described in the manuscript in the appropriate section or in the acknowledgments if used for writing assistance.
References References must not exceed 100. References must follow NLM/Citing Medicine style. References must be cited consecutively in the text using numbered citations, listed in citation order, and for works with more than three authors only the first three authors should be listed followed by "et al.".
Figures & Tables Tables and/or figures must be limited to 10 in total. Figures must be uploaded as separate files and not included in the text file, while figure legends must be placed at the end of the text file.
