Original Articles

Cover Letter A cover letter is required. The cover letter must confirm that the manuscript is not under consideration or published elsewhere and that each author approves the submitted version.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract headings must be Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Manuscript Manuscript must be arranged as Title Page, Abstract and Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conflict of Interest, Acknowledgments, References, and Legend for figures. Manuscript must include three to five MeSH keywords, a CRediT author contributions statement, and a conflict of interest section.
References References must use Vancouver style. References must be numbered in order of citation, cited in square brackets, list all authors up to six and the first three followed by et al. for more than six, and use Index Medicus journal abbreviations.
Figures & Tables Tables and figures must be uploaded separately rather than embedded in the manuscript, and each table must be on a separate page and uploaded as a separate file. Each figure must have a short explanatory title and caption with abbreviations defined, and tables must use only minimal horizontal lines with explanatory material in footnotes.

Reviews

Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words.
Manuscript Manuscript must include a title page, abstract, keywords, introduction, main text, conclusion, author contributions, conflict of interest, references, and legend for figures. Keywords, author contributions, and a conflict of interest section are required, and acknowledgments may be included.
References References must be formatted in Vancouver style.
Figures & Tables There are no restrictions on the number and size of figures for Reviews. Tables and graphic files must be submitted separately rather than embedded in the manuscript. Figure legends must be included as part of the manuscript.

Case Studies

Abstract An abstract is required. The abstract must not exceed 150 words. The abstract must be unstructured in a single paragraph.
Manuscript The manuscript must include abstract, introduction, case description, discussion, author contributions, and references. The manuscript must list 3 to 5 keywords in MeSH terms.
References References must be formatted in Vancouver style.
Figures & Tables Figures and tables must not be embedded in the main manuscript file and must be submitted separately. All tables must be on separate pages, and figure legends must be provided on a separate page.
