Original Articles

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must be 150 to 250 words.
Manuscript Original Articles should be about 3500 words excluding the abstract, legends, and references and must not exceed 10 printed pages. The title page must state the manuscript word count excluding abstract and references, the manuscript must include 4 to 6 keywords, a disclosure statement is required, a "Declarations" section must appear before the references, and any use of a Large Language Model must be documented in the Methods section or another suitable part of the manuscript.
References Original Articles must not exceed 50 references. Citations must be numbered in square brackets with references numbered consecutively. The reference list must include only works cited in the text that are published or accepted for publication, and full DOI links must be provided when available.
Figures & Tables Original Articles may include 5 figures and/or tables as a rule. Figures should be submitted within the body of the text unless file size causes upload problems, in which case large figures should be submitted separately. Figures and tables must be numbered with Arabic numerals, cited in consecutive numerical order, and each must have a caption.

References Brief Reports may include a maximum of 15 references. References must use numbered citations in square brackets. The reference list must include only cited published or accepted works, be numbered consecutively, and include full DOI links where available.
Figures & Tables Brief Reports may include a maximum of 3 figures and/or tables.
