Submission Instructions

Current Diabetes Reports is an invitation-only journal. Submissions are accepted by invitation from the editorial board only. The following article types are accepted:

Reviews

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must be 150 to 250 words.
Manuscript Declarations must be summarized in a section entitled "Declarations" before the reference list. The manuscript must include 4 to 6 keywords, a disclosure statement, an authorship responsibility statement for the review, and documentation of any large language model use in the Methods section or another suitable section if no Methods section is available.
References Citations must use numbered references in square brackets. The reference list must contain only cited published or accepted works and be numbered consecutively, with journal titles abbreviated using standard ISSN abbreviations and DOI links included where available.
Figures & Tables Figures should be submitted within the body of the text, but large figures may be submitted separately if file size causes upload problems. Figure captions must be included in the manuscript text file rather than in the figure files, and all figures and tables must be numbered with Arabic numerals and cited in consecutive numerical order.
