Abstract Required. 150 to 250 words. Unstructured.
Manuscript No more than 5,000 words, excluding the article title, figure legends, and references. A Declarations section must appear before the reference list and include Funding, Ethics approval, Data and/or Code availability, and Authors’ contribution statements, with any not applicable subsections still labeled. Keywords are required, a data availability statement is required, and a disclosure statement is required.
References Numbered citations in square brackets. References must be numbered consecutively, include only works cited in the text that are published or accepted for publication, and use full DOI links when available.
Figures & Tables Figures should be submitted within the body of the text, with large figures sent separately only if file size causes upload problems. Tables and figures must be numbered with Arabic numerals and cited in consecutive order, figures need concise captions and tables need captions, and previously published material in either must identify the original source.
