The Journal of Neurosurgical Anesthesiology publishes articles on all aspects of neuroscience in anesthesiology and critical care, including clinical neuroanesthesiology and neurocritical care, foundational neuroscience of anesthesiology and brain and spinal cord injury, and perioperative brain health. It is the official journal of the Society for Neuroscience in Anesthesiology and Critical Care and welcomes submissions from authors worldwide.

Abstract A structured abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be structured.
Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 4,000 words. The main body must be organized under the headings Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion. Up to 5 keywords are required, and any AI use must be disclosed during submission with AI-generated figures, tables, or images identified in their legends.
References References must not exceed 40. Manuscript style should follow the American Medical Association Manual of Style, 10th edition. References must be cited as superscript numbers in order of first appearance, include only published or accepted material, list only the first three authors followed by 'et al.' when there are more than three, and include a DOI for all journal articles.
Figures & Tables Clinical Investigations must not exceed 5 figures and/or tables. Tables and figures must not be embedded in the manuscript text and must be uploaded as separate files. All figures require legends on a separate manuscript page after the references, and tables must be created with a word processor table tool and placed in a separate file.
