Anesthesia and Pain Medicine is the official scientific journal of twelve subsocieties of the Korean Society of Anesthesiologists. It publishes peer-reviewed research in anesthesiology and pain medicine, is indexed in ESCI, SCOPUS, and DOAJ, and is published quarterly in English with issues released on the last day of January, April, July, and October.

Abstract A structured abstract in English is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must contain the headings Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusions and end with 6 to 10 MeSH keywords.
Manuscript Manuscript should be organized with title, abstract, introduction, methods, results, discussion, acknowledgments, references, tables, figures, and figure legends, with conclusions included in the discussion section. Manuscript must include an AI-use declaration if AI was used in writing, specifying the model name, version, source, and method of application.
References References must not exceed 50. References must follow the NLM Style Guide for Authors, Editors, and Publishers. References must be numbered in brackets in the order first cited in the text, listed in English, and for works with more than 6 authors only the first 6 names should be given followed by “et al.”.
Figures & Tables Tables must be included in the text, while figures and photographs must be uploaded separately from the manuscript file. Each table must appear on a separate page and figure legends must be provided on a separate page following the references.
