Annual Review Of Cancer Biology is an invitation-only journal. Submissions are accepted by invitation from the editorial board only. The following article types are accepted:

Review Articles

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract An abstract is required and must not exceed 150 words. Abstract must not exceed 150 words.
Manuscript Manuscript length must adhere to the guidelines presented in the invitation letter. Manuscript must be arranged in the following order: title page, text, literature cited, article components, figure captions, tables, and figures. Review Articles may include up to 6 keywords, and any AI use must be disclosed in the Acknowledgments section and where pertinent in the article.
References References must use the unnumbered name-and-year Harvard bibliographic style. Literature Cited entries must be listed alphabetically, include article or chapter titles, list all authors if there are six or fewer or the first five followed by et al. if there are seven or more, and cite unpublished observations or personal communications only in the text rather than in Literature Cited.
Figures & Tables Figures must be submitted as separate files rather than integrated within the text, and tables must be placed at the end of the article after Literature Cited or submitted together in a separate editable file. Each figure must have its own clearly labeled descriptive caption, a PDF containing all figures must be provided in addition to individual figure files, and all figures and tables must be called out in the text.
