Review

Cover Letter A cover letter is required. Cover letter must explain why the manuscript is suitable for publication and disclose any third-party writing or editing assistance or submission by a non-author.
Abstract Review articles must be prefaced by a summary. The summary must be 100–120 words. The summary is unstructured. The summary should include background information and specific examples of recent advances and provide enough information to stand alone, with no references.
Manuscript Review articles should be 3,000–5,000 words. Review articles must be prefaced by a summary placed between the title and main body of the manuscript. Manuscripts must include at least 4 keywords after the summary, a disclosure statement, and a 'Statements and Declarations' section at the end with all required subheadings.
References Review articles must contain no more than 100 references. References must follow Sage Vancouver style. Every in-text citation must have a matching reference list entry and vice versa, with identical spelling and year in corresponding citations.
Figures & Tables Review articles must contain no more than 5 display items. Figures and images must be uploaded. Figures must be numbered consecutively in the order in which they appear in the text.
