Abstract An unstructured abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 200 words. Abstract must be unstructured.
Manuscript Manuscript should typically be no more than 6000 words inclusive of tables and references. Manuscript should be organized as title page, abstract, keywords, main text with Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, and Discussion, acknowledgments, declaration of interest statement, references, appendices as appropriate, tables with captions, figures, and figure captions. Manuscript must include no more than 6 keywords, an author contributions statement before the references, a disclosure statement, and an acknowledgment of any generative AI use in the Methods or Acknowledgments section including the tool name, version, how it was used, and the reason for use.
References References may be in any consistent scholarly citation style or format. References must include full bibliographic details, every bibliographic entry must have a corresponding in-text citation, and cited data sets must be included in the references.
Figures & Tables Figures and tables may be placed within the text or submitted as separate documents. Tables must be editable and figures must be relevant to the work, with original uncropped source images required for immunostaining, microscopy, immunoblot, and PCR gel submissions.
