Asian Journal of Psychiatry is a general and comprehensive psychiatry journal for psychiatrists, mental health clinicians, neurologists, physicians, students of mental health, and those involved in mental health policy development. It aims to bridge the knowledge gap in the application and transfer of research findings and clinical practice through Asia to and from the rest of the world, with a focus on psychiatric research pertinent to Asia, including preclinical, clinical, service system, and policy development research that highlights the socio-cultural diversity of the region as it pertains to mental health.

Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract should be unstructured.
Manuscript Manuscript must be divided into clearly defined and numbered sections. Manuscript must include 1 to 6 keywords in English, an acknowledgements section before the references, CRediT author contribution acknowledgements, and a 'Declaration of generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in the manuscript preparation process' section before the references when applicable.
References References must be arranged alphabetically and then chronologically if necessary, with same-author same-year entries distinguished by letters after the year and journal names abbreviated according to the List of Title Word Abbreviations.
Figures & Tables Tables must be included in the manuscript as editable text, while figures and other artwork must be uploaded as separate files. All tables and figures must be cited in the text, numbered consecutively in order of appearance, and provided with captions.
