Abstract An abstract is required. The abstract must be 150 to 250 words.
Manuscript The manuscript must include a section headed 'Statements and Declarations' placed after the References section. A Data Availability Statement and a disclosure statement are required, and the 'Statements and Declarations' section must include Funding, Competing Interests, and Author Contributions statements.
References References must be cited by numbers in square brackets. The reference list should include only cited works that have been published or accepted for publication, be numbered consecutively, and include full DOI links when available.
Figures & Tables Figure captions must be included in the text file of the manuscript, not in the figure file. Tables must be numbered with Arabic numerals and each table must have a caption, while figures must be supplied electronically and figure files must be named with 'Fig' and the figure number.
