Original Articles

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract Original Articles must include a structured abstract. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract headings must be Aim, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
Manuscript Original Articles must not exceed 4,000 words, and submissions over this limit require justification at submission. Manuscript must be structured with the headings Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion. Manuscript must include 'What is already known about this subject' and 'What this study adds' sections after the title page, each with up to 3 short bullet point sentences and no more than 50 words, and Original Articles involving interventions with human subjects or administered substances must include a Principal Investigator statement on the title page.
References References may be submitted in any consistent style or format. References must be consistent throughout and include author name or names, journal or book title, year of publication, volume and issue or book chapter, and pagination, with DOI highly encouraged.
Figures & Tables Original Articles should preferably include no more than 8 figures and tables. Tables must be included at the end of the document and all figures must be uploaded separately. Figures and tables must have legends or captions, and tables must be provided in an editable format.
