Cover Letter A cover letter must accompany every manuscript submission.
Abstract An abstract is required. The abstract must not exceed 300 words. Unstructured.
Manuscript Articles have no limit on length. Submissions for initial consideration must be complete with clearly identified standard sections used to report original research. Use of AI tools for text or image generation must be disclosed in the Acknowledgments section with a description of when and how the tools were used.
References Articles have no limit on references. ACS style. References must comply with the style in use for the journal and may be provided in any style for initial submission if they are complete and include titles.
Figures & Tables Articles have no limit on figures and tables. Figures should be embedded in the text at the point of relevance, and tables should be included in the manuscript. Tables must be numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals, have brief titles and column headings, indicate units of measure, and be cited in the text in consecutive order.
