Toxicon X is the open access companion title of Toxicon. Both journals share the same aims and scope, editorial team, and rigorous peer review. The journal is dedicated to all areas related to natural toxins and publishes peer-reviewed manuscripts describing novel findings of broad interest and importance to the toxinology community, including toxinology, pharmacology, immunology, biochemistry, health, genetics, and molecular biology.

Full-Length Research Papers

Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be unstructured. Abstract must briefly state the purpose of the research, principal results, and major conclusions.
Manuscript Manuscript must be divided into clearly defined and numbered sections and contain the essential elements Abstract, Keywords, Highlights, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusions, and Figures/Tables with Captions. Manuscript must include 1 to 7 English keywords, 3 to 5 highlights submitted as a separate editable file, a graphical abstract submitted as a separate file, and disclosure of any generative AI-created images in each relevant caption and in the general Generative AI disclosure statement.
References References must be cited in the text and listed consistently in an alphabetical reference list ordered chronologically where needed, with author–year in-text citations and journal names abbreviated according to LTWA.
Figures & Tables Tables must be submitted as editable text and figures must be supplied as separate files along with the manuscript. All tables and figures must be cited in the text, numbered consecutively in order of appearance, and accompanied by captions.
