Clinics in Geriatric Medicine provides diagnostic and therapeutic information in geriatrics. It is published four times a year—in February, May, August, and November—and each issue covers a single topic in geriatrics, including cardiovascular disease, sarcopenia, frailty, dermatology, emergency care, oncology, patient care, and psychiatry.

Submission Instructions

Clinics In Geriatric Medicine is an invitation-only journal. Submissions are accepted by invitation from the editorial board only. The following article types are accepted:

Review Articles

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract A one-paragraph synopsis is required. Synopsis must be 100 words or fewer. Synopsis must be unstructured as a single paragraph.
Manuscript Manuscript should typically be 4000–6000 words, including the title page, key points, text, references, and figure legends but excluding tables, boxes, and figures. Manuscript must follow the specific Review Article template provided in the welcome email and available in EMSS. Manuscript must include 3–8 keywords, 3–5 key points, and a disclosure in the manuscript if AI or AI-assisted technologies were used in the writing process.
References References must use AMA style. References must be ordered numerically within the text.
Figures & Tables Each figure must be submitted as a separate file in the Figures tab in EMSS and must not be embedded in an MS Word document. Figures, tables, boxes, and videos must be numbered consecutively and mentioned in the text, with each figure and video including a legend and each table and box including a title.
