Article

Cover Letter A cover letter is required with the submission. The cover letter must confirm that the manuscript is not under consideration elsewhere and that all authors have approved the manuscript and agree to its submission.

Abstract An abstract is required. The abstract should be about 200 words maximum. The abstract must be a single paragraph styled like a structured abstract without headings.

Manuscript Article manuscripts must include Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, and optional Conclusions sections. The manuscript must include keywords, a short author-contributions paragraph for articles with several authors, and applicable disclosures of generative AI use in the paper.

References References must be numbered in order of appearance, including in table captions and figure legends, with in-text citation numbers in square brackets before punctuation and full titles in the reference list.

Figures & Tables All figures, schemes, and tables must be inserted into the main text close to their first citation. All figures, schemes, and tables must be numbered in order of appearance and accompanied by a short explanatory title and caption.

Scoping Review

Manuscript must include 3–10 keywords, a Methods statement that the review followed PRISMA guidelines, registration information if available, and a review authorship statement clarifying who led ideation, performed the literature search and/or data analysis, and drafted and revised the work.

References References must be numbered in order of appearance, cited in square brackets before punctuation, and listed with full titles.

Figures & Tables PRISMA flow diagram should be included in the main text, and all figures, schemes, and tables must be inserted close to their first citation. All figures, schemes, and tables must be numbered in order of appearance and accompanied by a short explanatory title and caption.

Systematic Review

Manuscript Systematic Review manuscripts should use the same structure as research articles, with Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, and optional Conclusions, and the Methods section must be clearly detailed. The manuscript must include keywords, a review-author contribution statement clarifying ideation, literature search and/or data analysis, and drafting and revision roles, and a completed PRISMA checklist or similar checklist plus a flow diagram in the main text or supplementary materials.

Figures & Tables All figures, schemes, and tables must be inserted into the main text close to their first citation, and the PRISMA flow diagram may appear in the main text or supplementary materials. All figures, schemes, and tables must be numbered in order and include a short explanatory title and caption.
