Dermatologic Therapy is an international journal founded to provide an authoritative scholarly source on the treatment of diseases affecting the skin, hair, nails, and accessible mucous membranes. It invites submissions of original research articles and reviews, with publication priorities focused on scientific merit, originality, and salience to academia and the medical community. Its scope includes prospective, retrospective, case-controlled, longitudinal, and randomized controlled trials, as well as treatment modalities, novel techniques and instruments, and safety and efficacy studies.

Research Articles

Cover Letter The submitting author must ensure that publication has been approved by all co-authors.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 300 words. Clinical trial Research Articles must include the trial register name and clinical trial registration number at the end of the abstract.
Manuscript Research Articles should include Introduction, Materials and methods, Results and discussion, and Conclusions sections, with no subheadings in the Introduction. A supplementary material section should be included before the references, and any use of AI technology in developing the manuscript must be transparently disclosed in the Methods, a disclosure, or the Acknowledgements section as applicable.
References References must be numbered consecutively in order of first citation, cited in the text using numbers in square brackets, and all listed references must be cited in the text.
Figures & Tables All figures and tables must be included in the manuscript file upon submission. Figures and tables must be cited consecutively in the text, each table must have a descriptive title, and technical images must have identifying subject information removed.
