Full-Length Reports

Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract should be structured with appropriate headings that provide context or background for the research.
Manuscript Full-Length Reports must not exceed 4000 words for the introduction, methods, results and discussion. Manuscript should be divided into clearly defined and numbered sections. Manuscript must include 1 to 7 keywords in English, provide article highlights as 3 to 5 bullet points submitted in a separate editable file, include acknowledgements in a separate section before the references, include CRediT co-author contributions, and add a new section before the references declaring any use of generative AI in manuscript preparation.
References References must use an author-date citation style. Reference list must be arranged alphabetically and then chronologically if necessary, with citations using the first author's name followed by et al. for works with three or more authors.
Figures & Tables Tables must be submitted as editable text and figures must be supplied as separate files along with the manuscript. All tables and figures must be cited in the text, numbered consecutively according to appearance, and provided with captions.

Cover Letter A brief cover letter is required for Stage 1 submissions. The Stage 1 cover letter must include a brief scientific case for consideration, confirmation that all necessary support and approvals are in place, an anticipated study timeline, confirmation that the authors agree to share the study’s data for all published results, and confirmation that if the paper is later retracted the authors agree to publication of a short summary under Retracted Registrations.

Manuscript Initial Stage 1 submissions must include Introduction and Methods sections, and Stage 2 manuscripts must preserve the approved Introduction and stated hypotheses while placing any unregistered analyses in a separate Results section titled “Post hoc analyses.” Article highlights must be provided at submission, the manuscript must include a declaration of generative AI use in a new section before the references if applicable, and exact p values and effect sizes for all inferential tests must be reported.

Text citations should use author name and year, citations with three or more authors should use the first author followed by et al. and the year, and the reference list should be arranged alphabetically and then chronologically if needed.
