Molecular Metabolism is an open access journal included in PubMed and PMC. Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract may be structured using appropriate headings. Abstract must state the purpose of the research, outline basic procedures, include the main findings and principal conclusions, and emphasize new and important aspects of the study or observations.
Manuscript Main text should be around 8500 words. Article must be divided into clearly defined and numbered sections. Manuscript must include 1 to 7 English keywords, article highlights of 3 to 5 bullet points, a declaration of competing interests document, and an AI-use declaration section before the references if AI tools were used in manuscript preparation.
References References must be cited in the text using numbers in square brackets. References must be numbered in the order of appearance and journal names must be abbreviated according to LTWA.
Figures & Tables There must be no more than 8 figures and/or tables in total. Figures must be uploaded as separate files, while tables must be submitted as editable text. Tables must include captions and be cited and numbered consecutively in the text, and figures must have captions and be cited and numbered according to their sequence in the article.
