Research Articles

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract Research Articles must include an abstract. Abstract must be 200 words. Abstract must be unstructured running text without subheadings.
Manuscript Research Articles must be 6000 words including abstract, references, tables, and figures. Research Articles typically include Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion sections. Manuscript must include five to seven keywords, Clinical Implications consisting of 3 to 5 bullet points, funding and disclosure statements, and a statement disclosing whether and how generative AI was used.
References Manuscript must follow APA style. References must appear under the heading “References,” include all cited works, and be ordered alphabetically by first authors’ surnames.
Figures & Tables Figures and tables must not be embedded in the text and figures should be saved separately from the text. Each table and figure must have a title and footnotes.
