Multipart Reviews

Cover Letter The cover letter must disclose use of artificial intelligence and provide copies of any related or similar previously published, posted, or concurrently considered work by the same authors.
Abstract required unstructured Medical Subject Headings must be listed below the abstract, and abbreviations and reference citations should be avoided.
Manuscript The title page must be submitted separately and include the manuscript title, author affiliations, corresponding author details, dual lead authorship where applicable, acknowledgements, funding information, and a disclaimer.
References References must be numbered consecutively in the order they are mentioned in the text.
Figures & Tables Tables must be numbered in Arabic numerals in text order and use the table feature in Word, and figures should remain readable when reduced.

Systematic Reviews

Cover Letter A cover letter is required. Scoping Reviews

Cover Letter A cover letter is required. The cover letter must disclose any use of artificial intelligence and must include copies of all related or similar preprints, dissertations, manuscripts, published papers, and reports by the same authors that contain substantially similar content or use the same, similar, or a subset of data.
Abstract An abstract is required. Unstructured.
Manuscript Scoping reviews must follow PRISMA guidelines. The title must state that the article is a scoping review, and artificial intelligence use must be disclosed in the Methods or Acknowledgements section.
References References must be numbered consecutively in the order in which they are mentioned in the text.
Figures & Tables Alt text descriptions must be provided for all images, figures, illustrations, and photographs, and tables must be concise and self-explanatory.
