Original Articles

Cover Letter Cover letter must disclose any third-party writing or editing assistance and state if the submission is made on behalf of the authors by someone who is not listed as an author.
Abstract Original Articles must include an abstract. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract headings must be Purpose, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 3,000 words. Manuscript sections must be Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion. Include at least 4 keywords after the abstract, an Author Contributions section after the Acknowledgements section, and a Statements and Declarations section at the end of the article with each required subheading included even if marked 'Not applicable'.
References Reference list may include a maximum of 100 references. References must follow Sage Vancouver style. Every in-text citation must have a corresponding reference list entry and vice versa, with identical spelling and year in corresponding citations.
Figures & Tables Original Articles may include a maximum combined total of 8 figures and tables. Figures, charts, and tables created in Word must be included in the main text, while figures and other files created outside Word must be submitted separately with a placeholder note in the text. Figures must be numbered consecutively in the order cited, and tables must be editable text tables in Word rather than images.

Review Articles

Manuscript must include at least 4 keywords after the abstract, an Author Contributions section after the Acknowledgements section, and a Statements and Declarations section at the end with each required subheading included and marked 'Not applicable' when relevant.

Include a minimum of 4 keywords after the abstract, a concise literature review, a brief overview of the study, sufficient details on the study's methods and analysis, and sections for Author Contributions and Statements and Declarations.
References References must not exceed 30. References must follow Sage Vancouver style. Every in-text citation must have a matching reference list entry and vice versa, with identical spelling and year in corresponding citations.
Figures & Tables A maximum total of 3 figures and/or tables is permitted. Figures, charts, and tables created in Word must be included in the main text, while figures and other files created outside Word must be uploaded separately with a placeholder note in the text.
