Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract A summary is required. The summary must be no more than 275 words.
Manuscript There is no word limit for this serial report article type. Manuscript must follow Serial Publications instructions and include a methods section. The manuscript must state whether AI-assisted technologies were used and describe that use.
References There is no limit on the number of references unless established prior to submission. References must follow The Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals. References must be numbered in numerical order, cited in the text in italicized parentheses, use PubMed journal abbreviations, and list up to six authors or editors before using "et al." after the first three if more than six are present.
Figures & Tables Figures and tables must be submitted in separate files and not embedded in the text.
