International Journal of Transgender Health is an international, multidisciplinary scholarly forum in transgender health published in partnership with the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH). It welcomes contributions across disciplines including endocrinology, surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, psychiatry, psychology, speech and language therapy, sexual medicine, sexology, family therapy, public health, sociology, counselling, law, and medical ethics, and considers original research, policy statements, review articles, and letters to the editor.

Original Article

Cover Letter A cover letter is required. If funded, the cover letter must state that the authors had no agreement limiting completion or publication of the research, had full control of all primary data, and are willing to allow data review on request, and if unfunded it must state willingness to allow data review on request.
Abstract A structured abstract is required. The abstract must be structured.
Manuscript The paper should be organized as title page, abstract, keywords, main text with introduction, materials and methods, results, and discussion, acknowledgments, declaration of interest statement, references, appendices as appropriate, tables with captions on individual pages, figures, and a list of figure captions. Include keywords, a word count, and a disclosure statement under the subheading Disclosure of interest.
References References must use APA style.
Figures & Tables Figures must be saved separately from the text. Tables must present new information rather than duplicate the text and must be interpretable without reference to the text.
