Research Articles

Cover Letter A cover letter should introduce the paper and explain why the work is important and suitable for publication at this time. The cover letter should introduce the paper and outline its importance and current suitability for publication.
Abstract Research Articles must include an abstract. The abstract must not exceed 250 words. The abstract must be structured. The abstract must use headings such as Objective, Methods, Results and Conclusions.
Manuscript Research Articles must be limited to 4000 words. Research Articles must be organized as Title page, Abstract, Introduction, Materials and methods, Results, Discussion, Declaration of interest, Funding, Contributions and Acknowledgements, References, Tables, and Figures. Research Articles must include a separate title page with all authors’ names and full addresses, the corresponding author’s postal and email address, the full article word count, a minimum of four keywords, declarations of interest, funding details, and an author contribution statement when applicable, and any use of AI tools must be described in detail within the Materials and Methods section.
References Research Articles must contain no more than approximately 50 references. References must use Vancouver style with superscript numerical in-text citations. References must be cited in numerical order and listed in the reference list in the order cited, with at least three authors named before using 'et al.'.
Figures & Tables Research Articles must contain no more than 10 figures and tables in total. Large tables should be submitted as supplementary data. Tables and figures must be numbered in the order cited in the text, tables must include a single-sentence title and footnotes explaining abbreviations, and figures must include legends with the figure number, symbol keys, organism name, statistical tests, and probability levels.

Review Articles
