The journal serves as an international platform for laboratory findings and publishes clinical trials with negative results as well as basic science studies with provocative findings. Experimental Hematology & Oncology is an invitation-only journal. Submissions are accepted by invitation from the editorial board only. The following article types are accepted:

Research Article

Cover Letter A cover letter is required. Cover letter must explain why the manuscript should be published, address any issues relating to journal policies, declare any potential competing interests, confirm all authors approved the submission, and confirm the manuscript has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 350 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must include the headings Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusions, and Research Articles reporting health care interventions on human participants must also include a Trial registration section.
Manuscript Manuscript must include a title page, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusions, a Declarations section, and a list of abbreviations if abbreviations are used. Manuscript must provide three to ten keywords, include Declarations subheadings for Ethics approval and consent to participate, Consent for publication, Availability of data and materials, Competing interests, Funding, Authors' contributions, and Acknowledgements with 'Not applicable' where irrelevant, and document any use of a Large Language Model in the Methods section or suitable alternative.
References References must use Vancouver style. Only published, in-press, or publicly available e-print or preprint sources may be cited, unpublished abstracts, unpublished data, and personal communications must not appear in the reference list, journal abbreviations must follow Index Medicus/MEDLINE, and all URLs must be numbered and included in the reference list with full site title, URL, and access date.
Figures & Tables Figure titles and legends must be provided in the main manuscript while figures are uploaded separately, and tables larger than one page may be placed at the end of the manuscript with their intended placement indicated in the text. Figures must be numbered in order of first mention and multi-panel figures submitted as a single composite file, while tables must be numbered and cited in sequence and must not be embedded as figures or spreadsheet files.

Figures & Tables A maximum of two figures or two tables, or one figure plus one table, is permitted. Figure titles and legends must be provided in the main manuscript, and figures must be uploaded separately in the order they are first mentioned in the text.
